release? Unfortunately I lack the skills (about video formats) to spot
the problem in ffmpeg source code, and put this way, I can predict Lucid
will never see this bug
I can reproduce the problem with ffmpeg 0.5, which is in both karmic and
lucid.
I've just tried it with ffmpeg 0.6, which can be found in maverick, and
the problem is gone. On this basis, I'm closing this bug. In case you
can identify which particular change in ffmpeg has fixed this issue,

I can duplicate this behavior on Karmic i686 and Lucid x86_64. Command
works as expected on Maverick x86_64. Also works with FFmpeg SVN r24064
on Karmic.
