Dear Jeremy,
I already mentioned that there are problems with the mainline kernel too
(although it seems to be with resume, and doesn't always happen).
Basically, suspending works OK, but then resuming only works sometimes.
The screen seems to turn on, but remains black.
I will attach pm-powersa
Hi Pedro,
If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would
be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.
Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the
upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstre

See if you can get the dmesg from the same session as a failed suspend.
Check the dmesg* files in /var/log for the right one; if you reboot
immediately after a failed suspend, it should be dmesg.0. Search for
lines like "PM: Syncing filesystems ... done." towards the end of the
log.
Also upload /v
So, for my current kernel (NOT mainline), the results are:
* The machine definitely breaks while going to sleep, as normally the power
led should blink, and instead the screen just gets white and the machine
doesn't turn off;
* It is reproducible every time;
* It used to work relatively well
Please follow the debugging steps here [1] to add more information to
this report. Thank you.

With mainline 2.6.35-999.201006151505, suspend succeeds. However, resume
results in a black screen.
