Do you mean that you can't reproduce the bug ? When you use the "clearlooks"
theme, you DO get an Education icon ???
Strange ! :-(
I mean, I made a 100% fresh installation of Edgy (Knot3), both for "real", and
also in VMwa
I commited a fix that will make sure that we get the applications-other
icon instead the "missing-icon".
We still need to figure out why for you no education icon is displayed.

I use the "Clearlooks" theme. I tried with the default Ubuntu theme, and the
Education icon is there.
I tried installing an application from the Education category, but that doesn't
fix the problem, the icon is still missing in g-a-i. There IS an icon in the
gnome menu, but although it's not th
Strange that there is no icon for the education section, Vincent. Which
theme do you use? Would you like to install an a education app and check
if there's an icon in the GNOME application menu?
The "other" icon should be fixed with the next upload. We missed the
freeze of KNOT 3. So wait some day
Education has an icon here (a schoolboard with "abc" on it), however,
"Other" also hasn't an icon here. Looks ugly...
