*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 58492 *** I've found that if you run the oo* commands with LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libdbus-1.so.3 before them, like so: LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libdbus-1.so.3 oowriter it fixes the crashes. Not sure if this helps, but it allows me to use OpenOffice w/o the crashing.

You may want to take a look at bug 58492 which talks about this bug but in the AMD64 distribution. However, it is the same bug. They have found that there is a workaround (do not use GTK+ dialogs) and it is a linking problem, as well-- rebuilding and pushing an update should fix it. Bug 58492 ha
