One of my friend bought a e1550 modem and Then I was not able to fully work it
in ubuntu 10.04. I tried to add a new udev rule to define
"/lib/udev/modem-modeswitch --vendor 0x12d1 --product 0x140c --type
option-zerocd" in this way but it some times
I got my e1550 modem to work by installing the package "usb-modeswitch".
If I plug the modem to the computer while usb-modesiwtch is installed it
automatically works and I can use the wizard provided by the network-
manager applet. It did, however, not ask me for the pin code and to get
the modem t
same problem is here too. :(( plz fix it.
