Just confirming. It's still present in Edgy Eft Knot 2.
It seems that /etc/kde3/kdm/backgroundrc points to
"/usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/kubuntu/kubuntu-wallpaper.png" which does
not exist. It probably should be pointing to /usr/share/wallpapers
/kubuntu-wallpaper.png or a similar image should be pu
This is much more noticeable on machines with two screens. The second
screen just uses the background colour instead of the wallpaper. And
that background colour is blue, whereas the one with the login prompt
has the purple wallpaper.
