I got your point. I should have thought about that. But, interestingly, on my machine the 0 key says gimp-remote %F & It does not work. And I don't have any idea what is "gimp-remote". Because of that, I created a hotkey like this gimp %F & That solves my problem. But gThumb is problemati

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I think the problem you describe is not really a bug but more a lack of documentation: If you set a shortcut with a command, this will be executed and gthumb waits for the process to end. This is fine for commands
