Thanks. Here's the file compressed with zip. The password is andybennett
all one word.
BTW, I've run smartctl on my drives and it says there's no problem. I've
also realised that when my wife logs in to the same machine, (she
DOESN'T use ubuntuone), then the machine will respond immediately.

We can certainly take a look at some of the Ubuntu One files and make sure it
is working ok. See if there are any
~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon-exceptions.log files and attach them to this
bug report. Better yet you can Right-click on the ~/.cache/ubuntuone/cache/log
