For me, ldm appears just fine on booting the thin client. Upon logging
in, or incorrectly entering a user/pass, ldm segfaults. I tried with
latest bzr rev from ldm-trunk and got the same thing. Here's the line
in syslog:

I am referring to the bug in Lucid, yes. My point was that the messages
shown above exist for a Karmic LTSP server also, and do not indicate the
real problem. On Karmic, ldm still comes up and you don't see the
messages, since they're on vt7. On Lucid, there's a problem with Xorg,

It appears that the mount messages seen aren't the real problem - in
fact, if you boot a thin client to a Karmic LTSP server and turn off
quiet and splash, you see the same messages, but ldm comes up fine and
log in works.
I get X/ldm crashing upon login. Is this when you others are seeing the
