I repeat: I no longer run KDE, and I don't feel like messing up my
production system by reinstalling it once again. If this bug isn't
reproducable in 2.0, then, in my opinion, it can be considered solved.
I, as the initial reporter of this bug, don't mind closing it.

2.0.2 (almost 2.0.3, actually) is in Dapper Backports. Can you please
confirm this? I cannot reproduce this at all.

This happened on KDE 3.5.4, not sure of the ktorrent version, in Dapper.
I no longer have KDE nor ktorrent installed on my system (moved to GNOME
completely recently) so I cannot test this whether this issue persists
in newer versions.

I cannot confirm this with the latest version 2.0-0ubuntu2 in edgy, can
you please try with the newest version and let us know if this is still
an issue
