I am now running 10.04 the default frequency was 85hz. (like in the other
releases)
But this time the resolution was perfect, although with the 85hz my screen was
slightly flickering. (almost unnoticeable)
It is heading the right way i guess. :)

Fortunately, that is an easy error to fix. in the terminal,
rm ~/.cache/apport/launchpad
hit ENTER. That should fix the error.

Hello Charlie, the terminal now gives me:
Error connecting to Launchpad: HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized
You have to allow "Change anything" privileges.
You can reset the credentials by removing the file
"~/.cache/apport/launchpad.credentials."
