Hi Hamish,
This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from

Monitor". But non

thing down using p4-clockmod in other distros, but ubuntu insists on
loading acpi-cpufreq and refuses to unload it so I can load the

"ondemand" and "conservative" don't work yet on the latest p4-clockmod of
2.6.31-17-generic kernel on my eeepc 4G(701).
After it's replaced to the modified p4-clockmod, they work fine.
Please fix the bug.
Thanks.

I have a similar problem. There used to be a 'remember authorization'
checkbox so I didn't have to always enter my password to change cpu
frequency, but now it's gone.
It's been replaced by a 'Details' dropdown which says 'Action:
org.gnome.cpufreqselector'. Clicking that doesn't open anything.
