informs the wrong version of the libssl library, which is recognized as
a 0.9.7 version,which is inferior
I'm sure that jaunty's, libssl version is 0.9.8

Thanks for taking the time to submit this report. It is not clear what
you mean with "the system informs". In order to detect where the problem
is, would you please run this command in the terminal:
apt-cache policy libssl0.9.8
As a side note, libssl 0.9.8 has been available in Ubuntu since Edgy
