Guess I should add that the only usb device plugged in to the computer is my HP deskjet f4185 - it still works fine in jaunty. Computer is gigabyte Ma770-D3 (I think that's the model #), nvidia 8600gt GPU, AMD 4800+ CPU, 2gb 800MHz ram -- Karmic koala - latest partial upgrade drops to tty1 https
