That being said, I think this may be a problem with individual themes. I
only really see this with Human based themes. Can anyone confirm this on
any other themes?

firefox-3.5 alone has >800 open bugs over 450 of which are still new. It
is a big, heavily used, and highly user-visible package and so has a
large backlog of bugs. Ubuntu is developed mostly by volunteers, and so
they have limited t

Confirming. This was the first bug I immediately noticed in Firefox
after upgrading to Karmic (I also noticed it in Jaunty AFAIK), when
using the default Human theme. I’m surprised I’m apparently one of the
few who has noticed this or has taken the trouble to report it, and that

I would like to add that the "dead" white pixels are not limited to the
url bar, but also afect the rest of the firefox user interface (dialog
boxes in the preferences menu,...). So it seems this might be a XUL
problem?
