@Hanno I understand your frustration, but just try to be patient. firefox-3.5 alone has >800 open bugs over 450 of which are still new. It is a big, heavily used, and highly user-visible package and so has a large backlog of bugs. Ubuntu is developed mostly by volunteers, and so they have limited time. But the fact that it is developed mostly by volunteers means that you can pitch in too if you want. If anyone wants to, feel free to help triage other firefox bugs so that the backlog can be lowered and the developers can get to this one.
