rt in Konqueror.
Now copy the text portion of my bug report.
Then paste it into the comment box below the report or into Kate, or whatever.
The result is that the linebreaks are lost. I tested this and it works
with Gecko and WebKit.

program itself, and not with our KDE packages. But don't worry! This issue is
being tracked by the KDE developers at:

Once fixed in KDE, it will be included in Kubuntu

You can reproduce this simply by opening this bug report in Konqueror
