I checked with the new version 0.8.7. The problem is solved, me-tv
saves dvb-t shows even if there is a "/" in the station name.

So far I just deleted the "/" in the station name, while using the
version delivered with ubuntu 9.04. . I will try the new version today
with an "/" in the station and report back here ASAP.

That did it. I had changed all the parameters, with one exception: I
only tried to save a show from "ARTE/Eins plus" on disk. Now I tried to
save from "3sat" and it worked.

Ok, the issue is obvious, there's a "/" in filename, I think that it's
coming from the channel name. Are you telling me that all your channels
are labeled this way.
I think that I have already addressed this issue, you should try the
latest, https://launchpad.net/~me-tv-development/+archive/ppa.

to save a tv show and finally, when it didn't work ("file or directory
not found") quitted me-tv:
