Hmmm... "Character Palette" is in the "Add To Panel" menu now, but it
wasn't before. I don't know when it changed, but it was between when i
posted this bug report and now, i guess.
Previously only "Character Map" was there - but that's not there now and
"Character Palette" is there. I know "Chara
charpick_applet2 is the character palette applet, if you add that to the
panel and go to a terminal and see the list of processes you'll see that
the charpick_applet2 is running. Which applet are you expecting to have?
