Hi, another issue!
I've observed that every time that i reboot or turn on my R60+ the time is
always wrong.
For example: if the real time is 3:30 pm, the time in ubuntu is 5:40 pm or
anything else and so I have to manually set the time!
Any advice? Thanks!

Hi Folks! I had the same problem, I tried ccx suggestion and now my R60+
shutdown and reboot correctly.
Now We can't see the boot splash, but nevermind! :P

I have a similar issue on samsung r70 laptop [Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty
Jackalope)], that after the "shut down" button is pressed, everything
seems to work correctly (short kernel messages with[ok] at the end
of the line; ubuntu logo appears;), but then laptop just hangs, that
power and wirelesslan l
ok. my last comment for this bug ( i promise!)
it works but not for 100%. i had one freeze, and then few times computer
shut down properly... so its only a 95% fix :)

Hi,
I installed ubuntu 9.04 three days ago and i had the same problem on the same
type of laptop - Samsung R60+ .
Other things works well since today, or i didnt notice nothing wrong
yet. but this damn shutting down/restart process was frustrating.
I checked few fixes, that with acpi, wlan0 and
I already meet the same problem on Intrepid , the bug was fixed with
"fglrx" driver from ati. Today , a proprietary driver for ati cards
(on jaunty) doesn't existsI think that we have to wait
