@Leann:
I don't beleive this bug is a duplicate of bug 326891 - I have the exact
same problem on my Intel 82566MM ethernet adapter which is supported by
the e1000e driver - not the r8169 driver.

Hi All,
I'm marking this as a duplicate of bug 326891 which is already being
addressed by a member of the Ubuntu kernel team. Please continue to
track this issue at that report and provide any additional inf
I can confirm this on my ThinkPad X61. None of the 2.6.27 kernels seem
to work. The 2.6.24-21 kernel works perfectly.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 (Broadcom NIC) and I've experienced the same

I'm also experiencing trouble with this module. I've got one of the low-

It still works but badly, it oftens disables itself (simply no function

Hi,
I have an MSI wind running Intrepid, and I have encountred the same problems
when upgrading from 2.6.27.9 to 2.6.27.11
I booted into 2.6.27.9 and the ethernet connexion was working, then I
booted into 2.6.27.11 and the ethernet connexion worked (it was a
surprise) then I rebooted into 2.6.27.
I know this bug has been allocated to the kernel team, but my Acer
Aspire One loaded the ethernet module using 2.6.27-11 kernel today. Logs
are attached.
Maybe someone could pass the log to the kernel team.
Regards
Russell

Could someone please tell interested users if the issue is being looked

Is there a kernel site similar to other bugs on launchpad?
Thanks and regards
