I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 (Broadcom NIC) and I've experienced the same problem. I'm going to re-installed 8.10 and update everything except the last kernal update until the bug has been fixed. The only problem is I do not remember exactly what the update was titled. I do remember it referring to the kernal and quite possibly 'kernal header', so if someone knows exactly please let me know. odi...@gmail.com
