with Lucid, Ubuntu is transitioning to using the -nouveau video driver
by default instead of -nv. The reason for this change is because
upstream development for the -nv driver has been quite slow. We are

Please let me know what else you guys need to look into this issue, it
effects me on every Linux distro with the open source NV driver.. maybe
you guys can have an option to include the propitiatory driver from the
installer disc or an option in the installer to download the driver if
agreed upon.
