** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-nv

I thought i'd call attention to this as its probably a tough one to
fix.. and happens in every distro i've tried besides sabayon (but that
comes with the official nvidia binary)

Basically with my setup (LCD HDTV + CRT) i get no video when i leave my
LCD plugged in on either screen.

  quick specs:

HDTV: Panasonic viera via DVI to HDMI connection
standard CRT via DVI to VGA connection (i'm saving up for a badass samsung
monitor)
GPU: Nvidia 9500GT (great for hardware decoding of h.264/avc/mpeg2/etc - of
course none of that works in linux yet :/)
