Public bug reported: I have Ubuntu 8.10, English version 1. Default language of my user was English 2. I installed language support for Polish and Japanese (scim 1.4.7-3ubuntu10) 3. Scim input (used for Japanese) method was working - scim icon was visible in the tray and I was able to switch th
