I'm running 14.04 fresh install.
I have an HP-LaserJet-P1005 and it didn't work just added via cups.
I had to install hplip from their website:
http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/install/install/index.html and use that to
set up the printer.
But then I was still seeing errors of "Can't create t
Closing since Ubuntu 8.10 is end of life and 9.04 will become end of life on
October 23 2010 and the /tmp permission problem hasn't been seen in newer
releases.
Please upgrade to a supported release!
