The bug number given in the trac ticket is different. It talks of a
different thing. I'm on jaunty, specifically using 0.9.8.a and the issue
is still not resolved .

a. The screen is not integrated as the rest of the interface as well as
b. The Controller is not shown in full screen.

I'm running 0.9.4-1ubuntu3 but the full screen controls still do not
appear, even though they're enabled. (As this was part of the original
bug report, I wasn't sure if this bug should be marked fixed).

When opening video, vlc player starts the video in external window
rather than integrated interface like it used to.
I can confirm that, it's a regression from 0.9.2 and 0.9.3 (where it
worked) and the 0.8.XX series (except for the controller in full screen,
which is a not so great 9.XX feature).
