Unfortunately, Adept has been unmaintained by its original authors for
several years, and nobody has stepped up to continue its development.
(Though the Muon Suite is arguably its spiritual successor) As such,
Adept has been removed from releases of Kubuntu from 12.10 onwards, and
no additional imp
I want to point out this bug for reconsideration again: I think that this is
nothing for the wishlist, but a relatively severe usability bug.
How about setting it to at least low or medium priority?

I agree with Olaf .. we find this very confusing. In fact we found beta2
to be almost unusable (testing Intrepid 32-bit on a Compaq Evo laptop).
I'm reserving judgement until we get to look at Beta 4, sincerly hope
that brings some sanity back. (Can't test right now, the laptop has gone
to a weeke

Probably I didn't express myself clear enough. What I described above is
a bug, not something for the wishlist - or I didn't understand the logic
of the flags.
I try to explain again, and add two screenshots:
1. When I open up the adept manager and choose
A browsing mode is something that mornfall was looking at implementing in 3.1.
I think the fact that you can semi-browse the packages by fooling with the
statuses is an unintended yet handy side effect. ;-)
