Sorry? I do not understand your comment. Probably I didn't express myself clear enough. What I described above is a bug, not something for the wishlist - or I didn't understand the logic of the flags.
I try to explain again, and add two screenshots: 1. When I open up the adept manager and choose the Search tab, I get a completely empty list - even though *all* "State" and "Requested" flags are turned on (i.e. they are not greyed out). The attached screenshot shows how adept looks for me when opened. To my understanding, the list should display *all* available packages in this state. 2. Only when I *deselect* the "Show packages marked for upgrade" of the "Requested" flags, I get a list of all packages. This is documented by the second screenshot. Note, that the only difference to the first screenshot is, that the "Show packages marked for upgrade" flag is turned off. To my understanding, the list should now display all packages, with the exception of the packages that were marked for upgrade. This is actually what happens. Therefore, I think something is broken with the logic of the "Show packages marked for upgrade" flag. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot of adept when opened and the "Search" tab is chosen" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18493958/adept-init.jpeg -- Empty list of packages while upgradable packages are selected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280747 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to adept in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
