When I reported this bug, I misunderstood the way font configuration
works. The configuration file in /etc/fonts/conf.avail is there as it
should be. I guess it should be discussed whether that should be copied
to /etc/fonts/conf.d upon installation, assuming that people who do
install ttf-liberati
Also, about a week ago, a devel release of those fonts was made
available that provides hinted fonts. Since this is not a core package,
maybe a devel release could be accepted for Intrepid?
