I am an android developer as well as an ubuntu developer and am working on
getting android apps integrated into gnome and ubuntu. I rely on
emdebian-tools and I unfortunately have to rely on debian instead of my
preferred os/ubuntu. This is my official request to get emdebian back on
ubuntu.
I use Ubuntu for embedded ARM development. I built a cross compiler and
used apt-cross to cross compile the necessary dependencies using a
sources.list file for Debian - they sit quite happily alongside the rest
of the Ubuntu system. It would be good to have these packages back to
support cross bui
I think what we'd need to have it back was someone who was willing to work
with embedian and ubuntu to maintain the tools in an Ubuntu context.

I can understand the reasoning behind the decision to blacklist emdebian
tools from Ubuntu, but it has unfortunate consequences for some people
trying to use Ubuntu for embedded ARM development.
