Yes, /proc/acpi/wakeup still seems to have no effect on wakeup events. Though
there is an interesting update.
If I disable LID0 in /proc/acpi/wakeup and suspend with pm-utils the laptop
wakes up on opening the lid and LID0 is still disabled in /proc/acpi/wakeup.
But when I use the old hibernate
Hey. I was trying to confirm this but I was not able to.
When I disable LID0 in /proc/acpi/wakeup, the computer doesn't wakeup
when I open the lid, and vice versa.
Are you still having this issue?

sudo /etc/acpi/sleep.sh force
is executed. Perhaps there is no setting for this in the newer pm-utils. Should
this bug be closed?
