Yes, /proc/acpi/wakeup still seems to have no effect on wakeup events. Though there is an interesting update. If I disable LID0 in /proc/acpi/wakeup and suspend with pm-utils the laptop wakes up on opening the lid and LID0 is still disabled in /proc/acpi/wakeup. But when I use the old hibernate scripts it seemed to work once, but after that it wakes on opening the lid but if you look at /proc/acpi/wakeup LID0 is now enabled.
I am running Ubuntu 8.04.01 on a clevo m540n notebook. -- /proc/acpi/wakeup does not disable wakeup on lid switch https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/250018 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
