Sorry, I no longer have a setup anywhere close to where I was having the
problem. I now run Debian Squeeze on my main computer (the one that had
Kubuntu on it when I was having the problem) and the other computer was
taken apart and reused as a server. Trying to replicate the setup would
be rathe
I had the same problem. Now I checked again. I'm now using
Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS
which includes
synergy 1.3.1-6ubuntu1
and for me the problem does not seem to occur anymore - Thanx!

changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem

Regarding comment #5: I am observing this behavior on 10.04 running
synergys 1.3.1 (protocol version 1.3).

I see the same problem while using 'glipper' with Gnome. The synergys
server crashes with the following message as soon as a client connects
to it while 'glipper' is running:

Also worth noting that this bug did not appear under Hardy, which I
upgraded from a few days ago. This is a new thing.

Also experiencing this bug, but I don't use KDE. I use xmonad and some
of the gnome tools, but no clipboard enhancement application.
Ubuntu 8.10 intrepid using synergy package 1.3.1-4ubuntu2

Yes I am using klipper, I looked at bug #203009 when I was starting to
write this, but the crash did not seem to happen any more often for me
when pasting a url into browser then any other copy/paste. Normally it
would fail on the copy or when I moved the mouse off the screen after a
