Yes I am using klipper, I looked at bug #203009 when I was starting to write this, but the crash did not seem to happen any more often for me when pasting a url into browser then any other copy/paste. Normally it would fail on the copy or when I moved the mouse off the screen after a copy. I guess it could be the same problem though. I may have disabled url actions on klipper.
I have gone back to using kde 3.5.
