Thanx works like a charm.Only one feature is missing from fat rat to become
best gui download manager in ubuntu (my opinion):)

Support for segmented HTTP/FTP downloads
it even supported a link many other failed.(others just downloaded a 120kb .iso
when whole thing is 2.2Gb and said completed

Hi, i just found Martin Hamrle PPA, which contains a DEB build of FatRat
1.1 (the most stable recent release), i'm using Ubuntu 8.10. The package
work as a charm here : ]
