SkyScrap,
I understand what you are saying, but on my system both in OOo and in
the PDF it produces on my machine they both look the same and that is
like what it looks like on your OOo (not PDF output). In any case it
will likely be fixed when I make the next upload of OOo for 8.04.1.
Thanks,

Hi Chris,
please look at the bitmap that I've attached and compare the cell A2. In
OOO it shows a greek symbol instead of an uppercase 'L'. The PDF shows
it correctly.

The pdf my system outputs looks the same as the screen in my screenshot,
but if it is fixed in ooo-build then I will probably be able to get it
fixed in 8.04.1 as well.

The Cell A1 is indeed rendered correctly, but A2 is not, also not in
your screenshot. Compare the output to the PDF and you see the
difference. The first character in A2 should be an uppercase 'L' in
Arial.
It's apparently already fixed in the trunk and 2.4 build. Can that

It looks fine to me and exports to PDF properly as far as I can tell.
Check the 'i' in both words and notice it is different fonts. I am
attaching a screenshot of the open file. What is the problem exactly, or
does my version look right to you?

Oh by the way, do you actually have the fonts installed that the
documents you are having problems with are using?
