When running compiz and the display is put to sleep the system
completely locks up and I have to reboot with Ctrl+Alt+SysRq+B, this
also happens when I put my laptop on standby. If I disable compiz and
use metacity everything is fine, so it seems to be compiz crashi

Hi there. I experienced this as well. There seems to be AUDIT errors in
Xorg.0.log right after a crash, which I am not sure are related. I will
attach an example.
While discussing this matter with crdlb in the compiz #, he suggested
that replace the compiz "composer" by metacity's composer in gcon

That are the files you requested.
I've installed the last updates including a kernel update and without the
modules from Intel's git repository I have no 3D at all, that's the first
xsession-errors file..
After compiling and installing the git driver, 3D is working fine and the
second xsession-
Please attach your ~/.xsession-errors file, /var/log/Xorg.0.log and the
output of lspci -vvnn as separate attachments to your bug report.
