Confirmed in AMD64 Hardy Kubuntu. Upgraded from Gusty. Recent addresses
list in Komposer remembers old addresses correctly but does not find
addressbook entries with characters outside of the ASCII range. Appears
to be kaddressbook. I had no local resource, only a cached IMAP.

Indeed there aren't, and my understanding is that the contacts stored in
imap are using the mail settings. Yet with the upgrade to gusty the
encoding of contacts is wrong while the one of mails is correct. On
feisty it worked fine.

It is all normal (see attached screenshot). The funny thing is that
emails encoding is correct, but contact one is not.
