Claude here, I reinstalled Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS that I got in the mail from CANONICAL because of the internet wireless problems I was having on my Compaq Presario V6000 once I installed the Burned copy of Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. I own a Gateway, model: ma3 or MX6447 and when I installed Ubuntu 7.10 I got this “bug found” notice: [29.614318] PCI: Bios bug#81[49435000] during the initial boot. As the computer continued to boot the screen falls blank, ( during the part when you would normally see the Ubuntu splash and the pr
