I own a Gateway, model: ma3 or MX6447 and when I installed Ubuntu 7.10 I got this “bug found” notice: [29.614318] PCI: Bios bug#81[49435000] during the initial boot. As the computer continued to boot the screen falls blank, ( during the part when you would normally see the Ubuntu splash and the progress bar ). It boot's normally into the login window and the system runs fine (so far). Is there anything I should worry about? Is there a fix? I tried installing Ubuntu Hardy Heron, but I could not configure the wireless card properly so I reverted back to 7.10.
