THe problem I think is the volume keys change the volume in KMIX but not the
correct slider? Sorry don't have my KDE 4 biuild running right now

Ubunut 8.04
Hi. All worked fine in 7.10, but since I've upgraded, the 'mute' and
'voume up and down' slider does not affect the sound. It's a touch
sensitive slider built into the top of the keyboard.
The output is fine becasure the sound applet works and I have to use
that
I ran into the same problem, it's pretty annoying.
