Tried to run the backtrace but it wasnt successful. I put the results on
the bug but I must be doing something wrong?
I have loads of problems wih Evolution - so much so that I no longer
bother using it with Exchange - is this just me or are there lots of
issues.

Tried to obtain a backtrace but got the following response from gdb:
(gdb) backtrace full
No stack.
(gdb) info regsiters
Undefined info command: "regsiters". Try "help info".
(gdb) info registers
The program has no registers now.
(gdb) thread apply all backtrace
No registers.
(gdb) quit

On topic but different distro.. This happens on CentOS 5.2 and FC9
x86_64 with all updates. I guess when I get home and try on my Ubuntu
box I will have the same issues as everyone else. Will try and get a
backtrace later, but this is a real show stopper...

Correction - this HAS stopped me using evolution completely. I'm now
back to Outlook in a VirtualBox VM. Not as seamless but at least it
doesnt crash as much.

Decided to try Evolution with Exchange one more time after seeing the
latest patches this morning. After installing patches for Evolution and
restarting Ubuntu just for good measure I am seeing this problem with
the calendar too.
First startup of Evolution:
Email looks ok, switch to calendar and
I'm suffering from this bug too.
It's almost guaranteed that if I open an item in an exchange calendar I
will get the dreaded "The Evolution calendar has quit unexpectedly. Your
calendars will not be available until Evolution is restarted" dialogue.
I'm using version 10.22.1 running under Ubuntu 8
