I'm suffering from this bug too. It's almost guaranteed that if I open an item in an exchange calendar I will get the dreaded "The Evolution calendar has quit unexpectedly. Your calendars will not be available until Evolution is restarted" dialogue. I'm using version 10.22.1 running under Ubuntu 8.04 . This almost stops me using Evolution completely.
Version 10.12.x under 7.10 used to do this too but no where near as badly.
