shouldn't thunar at least show mounted internal partitions? i am asking because
in 8.04 it does not.
it displays external devices such as usb drives, but it does not show (properly
mounted) internal partitions, which is an odd combination.
i am talking about icons in the sidebar and on the deskto

I wasnt sure if this was a LiveCD issue and that once properly installed
Xubuntu would show the partitions on my desktop just fine (as it does
with my installation of Xubuntu 7.10) but when I asked on the IRC
channel people seemed to be off the opinion that it should have worked
on the LiveCD. Was
