You were using a 3rd party version of evdi (4.4.24). This was not a bug
in Ubuntu's evdi package.

Consult /var/lib/dkms/evdi/4.4.24/build/make.log for more
This bug persists with the newer linux-headers-6.8.0-51. I'm unable to
install *any* updates.

Upgra
The initial kernel ...50 release had missing "modules" packages, so
would not successfully install (see
https://askubuntu.com/questions/1535187/linux-generic-hwe-24-04-and-
other-are-kept-back). Within a few hours the "modules" packages were
released, and the kernel install succeeded. Can this bug
