The initial kernel ...50 release had missing "modules" packages, so
would not successfully install (see
https://askubuntu.com/questions/1535187/linux-generic-hwe-24-04-and-
other-are-kept-back). Within a few hours the "modules" packages were
released, and the kernel install succeeded.  Can this bug be duplicated
not that everything has been released?
