apt-get said:

selinux: Conflicts: apparmor but 2.1+1075-0ubuntu6 is to be installed
So it is saying that you already have apparmor installed, and it
conflicts with selinux, so it's stuck, you have asked it to do some
sudo aptitude install selinux is a work around and fixed the issue. I'm
not sure why, but it worked.
