Update:
I can get either GDM working by restarting in "safe mode" and running xfix OR
get my Wacom tablet running, but not both. I had no trouble at all with GDM and
my Wacom tablet under Gutsy.
But my biggest problem is that nothing will give any clue to what happens:
Xorg.log does not show anyt
I also had this problem after reinstalling my Wacom Bamboo1 tablet. I had it
working just fine on Gutsy, but the Hardy upgrade breaks every x.org setting
there is. Luckily, I had a backup of my original xorg.conf.
