Hello, im running Hardy in Presario F730US amd64 and installed ndiswrapepr
following this HowTo:

and also applied the Hardy bug fix and mi BCM94311 mini-pci (rev 02) works

The patch from b43 site has been added, but it will be removed due to
another bug, that prevents other b43 cards that were working before.
That bug seems quite similar to this and it is bug 197959

I have a rev 02 also and it seems to work fine with the -14 and also -15 kernel
You might want to try and run

But the problem in this bug is only for rev02 card. The problems are
still here in -14 kernel, but as I already said thei are gone in .25rc
kernels

After the latest kernel updates my connection hasn't dropped anymore

Remember that the kernel is from fedora 9 beta, and there might be
something that goes wrong.
For instance in my case, every time I boot there is a process that
uses 100% of my cpu, and I have to kill it manually

you can even download the RPM kernel package from the fedor
It would be great, if hardy supports this nic, I hate it to have 20%
packet loss.

kernel 2.6.25-rc6 fixes this disconnection problems. we must take the
patch to 2.6.24 or we will miss an LTSP release...

I don't know but it seems that while I'm connected to the AC I don't
have problems, But as soon as I begin to use the battery I start to
have problems (that are unrecoverable, and I need to do a full reboot,
and sometimes also reboot to windows)

ok! with the las update my b43 is working perfectly i am 10 meters from acces
point with to walls and i have:
native drive 86 to 93% of conectivity
ndiswrapper 60 to 65% of conectivity
my card is a:
Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM94311MCG wlan mini-PCI (rev 02)
my notebook is a: Com
I also have similar problems with the b43 driver
A couple of kernels ago it worked fine, but now it:
1) Doesn't see the other networks
2) Is slow. Pinging my Accespoint can take 2 seconds. Sometimes reconnecting
helps
3) Looses connection
